The Associação de Proprietários do Aldeamento do Vale de São Gião  (Vale de São Gião Homeowners’ Association), now informally known as the Associação de Moradores do Aldeamento do Vale de São Gião (Vale de São Gião Residents’ Association), was founded with the aim of representing, valuing, and strengthening the local community by promoting a spirit of mutual support, civic engagement, and sustainable development within our neighbourhood.

We are a group of residents united by a common purpose: to care for the neighbourhood, give voice to the needs of its residents, and create initiatives that improve the quality of life for everyone who lives here.

Being a member of the Association is much more than belonging to a formal structure. It means actively taking part in a movement whose main pillars are:

• Promoting community well-being through cultural, recreational, and social activities;

• Defending the interests of residents before public entities;

• Enhancing public spaces and local heritage;

• Encouraging active citizen participation in decisions that affect our area.

 

We believe that the strength of a community lies in the people who are part of it. That is why the Association is open to all who wish to join, contribute, participate, and play an active role in this collective project.
